Surjit Bindrakhia (1962-2003) was a Punjabi singer, composer, and songwriter. He was born in Bindrakh village near Amritsar, Punjab, India. He was known for his Bhangra music and was regarded as one of the most popular Punjabi vocalists of all time. Bindrakhia's music was a blend of traditional Punjabi folk music with modern beats and instrumentation. Some of his popular songs include "Tera Yaar Bolda," "Dupatta Tera Satrang Da," and "Jatta Koka." Bindrakhia was also known for his unique voice and energetic performances.
